Awake from a daydream, whispers break from underneath Are they his consciousness relaying back within his ear? That sinking feeling draws him in from incomplete The air is thin as he begins to craft his offering In comes the thought: “Do I exist Just to perpetuate a myth?” It was the saddest thing to feel He won’t live on in your memory reel Unless he leaves something behind What if he can’t make up the time Just like the ancient scars reveal He won’t live on in the history reel Awake in the hazy night with whispers in his ear Telling him to step outside, lay down the plan and build for me How can it be that he lived all his life without this experience? The sun would rise and it would shine upon his crude bare work

The sin has filled the room I loved the way we’d use But this was not the same Abuse With Worn out glances, And the calmest calamity Those eyes; they whisper my demise We keep holding up this same toxic routine Picking apart each others lives We'd both walk up the same excess road Only to find out what we’ve both known this whole time So are we gonna leave it this way? Where we bottle shit up and it explodes on the stage I thought you didn’t believe in this game As we detach from each other you say What a horrible thing we did today So obsessive sitting by the dotted line As you’d even pass the time With a sick sorry soul like mine If I confess little memory exists Of when we beseeched each others minds I hope the rest would leave my head tonight So are we gonna waste our time again? Are we gonna blur all of these lines again? If sex is just a game, if its just a role you play, To get you through dark days then who am I to even complain?

So now we’re two years on I still often wonder Where do we go from here The rush; of anything for love But only til we fall apart Two years that somber song With no sweet resolve yeah Where do we go? Is there an outcome? We keep repeating the sequence again Come on come through and see what lays here behind Come on and see the other side So easily trapped in Your one track mind, yeah. Come on come through and wipe the tears from your eyes I wanna see you dance tonight Cause the tighter you cling to these mistakes The further you’ll drift away So now we’re three years on I still live the same amongst the mountains of the things that I would change Its fine its fine, I consciously tell that lie Three, four five times a night Each day I’m fostering a brand new taste and if I wanted to I could walk away All of my days, looking into a mirror that would avert its own eyes From my very own gaze And it’s the glimmer of the light (I know you will) Locate the inner soul tonight (I know you will) I know its not forgotten; but deeper inside I know that it will find you and brighten your life I know that there is love inside When you shed all of your pride Just say it ain’t so amidst the lapse the burden seeks to take control

God Sighs 03:22
What hasn’t been lost was not so much found much more laden with costs he could never pay So along to the wayside the hidden enchantment inside of him Build another bridge, you’ll get over this Things seemed so fine behind movie screens To hell with everything the words she would choke out upon stepping in that cab He made a huge mistake coming here today Grace fought in fairytales tell us who saves the day? Who forgives our mistakes and lets us feel okay? What was never found was only the freedom of finding out What sort of deal is his life about when he opens his eyes The foundation paved between two strangers One lost, one divinity To hell with everything the words that stumbled out as he stood back, laughed and ran You’ve got to get him out of here You’ve got to free his soul my dear (cause he’s found you out) You've got to get him out of here You've got to free his soul my dear (cause he’s found you out)

The Burden 04:26
Is it here that the truth does transpire? Or is it where I Chase my desires? In the midst of the bountiful garden My heart grew hardened What is this disease I've succumbed to After all, all I know is I was never on my own all along I once swore that I would not remain a shadow onto the world But alas the soul escapes In the callousness of giving in Take these pills forfeiting will from irresponsible hands The youth you seek to replenish has disappeared and I can’t carry you no further we must stop here I don’t know what I don’t want to know anymore The youth you seek to replenish has disappeared and I can’t carry you no further we must stop here In your private fucking hell, oh But alas a head entrenched in Bitter memories The soul escapes In search for remedy It will ascend to The pearly gates Where they would tell it You're never getting in Behind this life of thrills Lies an ending not so grand We have to have it still It is what separates the man From the piano key He couldn’t fit into the plan Is this the end of the story? Or is it a retelling

Fade in, fade out Of so called eternal love He became only an echo To what he thought to be above Asked of him to build for God It was his shadow He was quite perplexed by this He went his own way But wasn’t he always? He lived these two lives Between obey and command Talking to himself he nods They don’t understand He went and cut his losses He is but one man imagination had Him stuck in his ways No attention he pays He wonders now who''s left to blame If he dug this hole with his own two hands Could he find his way back out again? They emerge from walls to his brain Delicately laugh at his pain Does he deserve to be tormented by cries so loud yet still in vain Eager eyes And a desperate tongue Forced himself to fall in love With anyone A recovering addict Blessed with loving too much Holding out that something new Would come his way Why won’t this feeling stay No words to say Is this how the story plays
